- Replace junk foods and other salt-laden packaged foods with protein-rich foods. Whey protein is much better because it both helps in keeping your stomach full longer while burning the fat.
- Do not eat carbohydrate-rich foods before going to bed because the carbs, when not put into use, becomes stored fat overnight. Avoid breads, pastas, potato chips, pizza and pastries, among others.
- Generally, it's best to cut down your carbohydrate intake
- Many folks were successful with interval training because it allowed them to burn more calories faster. Talk to your gym trainer about this and see if you too can lose those unwanted fats in no time.
- Try eating small meals 5 to 6 times instead of full huge meals 3 times per day. By doing this, you will feel fuller throughout the day and it can stop you from snacking in between meals. Your metabolism will also increase and result to burning calories/fats faster.
- If you can, try to replace 2 of your main meals with liquids such as a healthy concoction of veggie and fruit shake, tomato juice or non-fat milk or yogurt drink. This can make you feel fuller, thus, reducing your intake of solid foods per day.
- Incorporate weight training or muscle building into your weight loss program once you have the hang of doing cardio exercises. It may take a few weeks to months of full-cardio exercises to help reduce those extra pounds as you build strength.
